Crane Plastics, their parent company, made the first vinyl siding in 1952 and has been the leader in the vinyl extrusion industry since their establishment in 1947. Since its creation, Crane has maintained continuous ownership and is committed to the vinyl industry, which serves as their core business. Current tradition product lines include Market Square, American Dream, and Portsmouth Shake. Our newest line of vinyl is Variform, a leading manufacture of vinyl siding for over four decades. A member of the Ply-Gem group, Variform began when a Missouri entrepreneur founded the company to manufacture VARIous FORMs of plastic. In 1971, he began custom embossing siding accessories, and by 1976 Variform was manufacturing it's own siding line. Product lines include Camden Pointe, Ashton Heights, Contractor's Choice, Heritage Cedar Shake, Victoria Harbor Full Beaded Siding, and Board & Batten. In addition, Variform has a insulated panels as well as Timber Oak Ascent, a variegated siding that givves the curb appeal of hand-stained hardwood. EAS is proud to offer Nailite siding by Exteria Building Products. Handsplit Shake and Roughsawn Cedar provide a cedar look without the maintenance. The new Cedar Pride EZ panels make installation much easier as well. In fact, Nailite prides their product on being low-maintenance while maintaining high quality. With a limited warranty, Nailite contains polymers that make every panel strong and durable. In addition, Nailite is three times thicker than conventional siding. Besides features such as matching corners and UV-resistant panels, this siding can be repainted to the customer’s preference. EAS now carries The Foundry, formerly Miami Foundry. The Foundry is now owned by the Tapco Group, which also owns Mid-America Building Products and Tapco tools. Product offerings include Shakes, Staggered Shakes, Shingles, and Shapes that are as elegant as hand-split cedar siding, yet more durable. These products install more like traditional vinyl siding, providing a lower waste factor than other shake products. EAS is proud to stock some of these products in select locations. In addition, The Foundry offers color matches for Crane and Heartland sidings. Tropical colors including papaya, lemonade, and are also available with no up charge.
